(Core Sync also has the Listening doodad often.) My Intego security software shows the following internet connections in this state:

If I have once opened a Creative Cloud program, and then quit all Adobe programs, Creative Cloud, and the Overall Adobe program that manages updates, the CoreSync, CCLibrary, CCXProcess, and Adobe Desktop Services processes are still running, even though the little Adobe icon in the top bar of my computer for the program to get updates is closed. And I don't even have an account in the cloud! I never use the on-line options, but I guess it's constantly syncing just in case I start? Or is it just making sure I really have a license? It started again for me with an update as well.
